Role Overview

The Content Marketing Executive is responsible for creating, managing, reviewing and optimizing content that supports brand growth, product launches, and community engagement.

This role owns blogs, newsletters, and other related marketing copies, while working cross-functionally with the social media team for community content, distribution and ideation. This role does not execute social media posting or manage CRM systems.

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editorial (Primary)

  • Research, write, and edit high-quality content including:
    • Blog articles
    • Email newsletters
    • Short-form copy (campaign messaging, prompts, product narratives)
    • Social media copy (Instagram, Linkedin)
    • Website and landing page copy
    • Product content proof-read
    • Marketing presentation or/and deck
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging
  • Maintain strong standards for writing, editing, and proofreading

Blog & Long-Form Content (Primary)

  • Own blog planning, production, and publishing cadence
  • Ensure blog content supports education, SEO, and long-term brand value
  • Repurpose blog insights into short-form copy and newsletter content
  • Maintain a structured editorial calendar

Newsletter Ownership (Primary)

  • Own newsletter content planning and writing
  • Align newsletters with launches, campaigns, and seasonal themes
  • Structure newsletters for clarity, engagement, and relevance
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams for execution

Community Engagement & Broadcast Channels (Primary)

  • Manage community-facing channels (e.g. broadcasts)
  • Facilitate Q&As, prompts, polls, and interactive formats
  • Engage with the community through replies and discussions
  • Surface insights, FAQs, and feedback to inform future content

Launch & Campaign Support (Secondary)

  • Support product launches and campaigns with:
    • Launch narratives
    • Supporting copy and messaging
    • Newsletter and community content
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to ensure content alignment across channels

Product Review & Proof-read (Secondary)

  • Scanning for spelling, punctuation, and zero-error proofreading and copyediting of all products before the product goes to print.
  • Audit every prompt and reflection to ensure the voice remains cohesive with the brand identity
  • Optimize the flow and clarity of copies to maximize user engagement and emotional impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration (Secondary)

  • Partner with the social media team by:
    • Providing content themes, messaging inputs, and narratives
    • Translating long-form ideas into short-form copy
    • Proofreading and aligning brand tone
  • Participate in shared brainstorming sessions and planning
  • Collaborate with design, product, and partnerships teams as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Native-level fluency in English and Indonesian
  • TOEFL iBT score of 110+ or IELTS Academic score of 8.0 or higher
  • 2–4 years experience in content marketing, editorial, or digital marketing
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience producing blog and long-form content
  • Comfortable writing short-form copy across multiple touchpoints
  • Organized, detail-oriented, zero-tolerance error checking and able to manage multiple timelines
  • Proficient in Google Suite and content management systems (Shopify, WordPress)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Based in Indonesia

Nice to Have

  • Experience in wellness, journaling, or purpose-driven brands
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Experience managing community or broadcast channels
